Juel Prep

Eligibility: Grade 9 & 10 (Born in 2009/10) – For 2024/25 season

Description: This team will practice twice per week with additional fitness training to be done at home with guidance from coaches, and compete in the JUEL Prep League. The season starts in November and ends in May. Tryouts in August. See below for more detailed information on the Juel Prep league.

Cost: Will be determined once the team is finalized and information becomes available to us from Juel – Estimated fees will be between $1200 – $1600 per player based on the description above.  Price varies depending on league fees, number of players per team and practice locations.

Uniform: 2 jerseys and 2 pairs of shorts – $180 – The players keep their uniforms. This is a cost on top of the registration fees listed above and are ordered directly through Source teamworks in London.

Tryouts: Will take place in August. There are no fees to tryout. Dates, times and locations will be posted on our website and social media outlets in mid-August.

Payment/Receipts: Fees are due at the competitive registration day in October.

The 2024-2025 season will operate with 14 Franchises, 2 Divisions with teams playing the teams in their Division twice and the teams in the other Division once. This structure will include 19 Regular Season games and allow us to go back to a balanced Tournament Format. In addition, teams will have 3 Pre-season games (32-minutes in length for all Divisions) and an In-Season Tournament. This means that all of our teams will play 28-30 games over 6 months allowing for proper rest and recovery for all of our Players.

In-Season Tournament

• The In-Season Tournament is a new initiative to create more excitement during a long season.
• The Tournament will be held on the March 22-23, 2025 weekend in a centralized location.
• Teams will be seeded based on their standings as of March 3, 2025.
• The winning teams in each division will be awarded a main trophy only (no individual Coach and Player Medals).
